On Thursday 16th June we successfully held our annual formal at Le Man Hotel along with guests from Knock Presbyterian Church. Everyone that walked on the red carpet that night looked like film stars and were cordially greeted with a cocktail (non alcoholic of course) and music by David Walker on guitar and friend Bea Stewart singing.
Photographs were enhanced by the wonderful themed background of a giant top hat and giant tiara, both made by Cathy Walker. The theme carried on to the tables and seating plan where more hats and tiaras were lit up as a centre piece. The three course dinner was enjoyed by everyone before our big raffle which allowed many who attended to win prizes. In the foyer a photo mirror was set up so anyone could pose wearing various hats etc. The dancing was to music by DJ Louis and Tracey our bus driver. It was a great success.
