About Us
Mitchell House is an Education Authority Belfast Region co-educational special school for children with physical disabilities. Most of our students have an associated learning difficulty to some degree.
Happy St Patrick’s Day ☘️ While my friends were off school I’ve been very busy! @assistancedogsni asked me to go to the @iccbelfast yesterday and today to meet guests at a conference. I had a great time, thanks to everyone for all the cuddles. Added bonus was getting to see the other dogs too! Thanks @iccbelfast for making us feel so welcome!

I had a trip to the groomers this week for a new ‘do’ - see if you can spot the difference in the photos 💜 It’s a long weekend for all my chums but I’m going to be doing something very exciting. Watch this space for more details! Enjoy the sunshine everyone 🐾😎
Hello friends, even though I’ve been a bit quite on here I’ve been very busy with all my chums in school 💜 I just love making my people smile, I’m told I do that a lot 🥰
It’s half term 🎉 My buddies were all counting down the days this week and so was I 💜 I was doing a spot to Technology this week and decided it was all too much so just had a wee chill out while I let the class work away 😂 Hace a fab half term everyone, I’ve a few day trips planned 🐾
Back to school this week 🎉 I was SO happy to see all my chums and as you can see the were happy to see me too! There were kisses and cuddles all around which I’m not going to complain about 💜🐾 One of these pictures marks something quite cool, a chum of mine was really afraid of me at the start - not sure why but anyway - we’ve worked hard a building trust between us and this week she kissed me 🎉 it took a year of hard hard work on my part, staying really still, showing her I’m not scary and generally just being cute me, but it’s paid off 💜
