The Robins class this year has five pupils, 3 girls and 2 boys. Our teacher is Miss McCay this year and our classroom assistants are Ruth and Alex. We explore exciting topics throughout the year, such as All About Me, Colours, Bears, Spring, Under the Sea, and Transport. Our Maths curriculum includes engaging counting songs, a monthly focus on different numbers, and exploring numbers through sensory play and creative craft activities. For Literacy, we use the Jolly Phonics program, enjoy squiggle time, visit the library weekly, focus on a new topic book each week, and participate in fine motor activities. We also incorporate Attention Autism to develop focus and interactive play skills, and Sunshine Circles to foster self-regulation and social interaction.
